Kia Ora! I’m Sophie Hansen, a graphic designer currently based in Naarm / Melbourne, coming from Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington.

I have a special interest
in print design, magazines, zines and using physical design techniques mashed with using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

In my fourth and final year of my degree, I focused
my major project on the topic of pinkwashing and queer designing. This project has had a profound impact on the way that I view graphic design, and
how it shapes the world around us. Queer desiging
is an important concept
to my practice and I try
to carry it with me in everything I do.
